Our Easter Sunday was wonderful, with lots of children, several guests, and a festive air. The sun was bright, grass freshly mown, music pouring out of the church into the bright spring day. Thanks to everyone who made this possible – your presence and joy in our community was a gift.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday at Christ Church, Blaine.

We had a great day today – starting out with a party, excellent cinnamon rolls (thanks to Jean) and lively music led by Michele Edwards from next door. At some point I heard a shout “Hey can we do this every Sunday?” in the midst of the singing. The answer is – yes, we can sing this way any time!

Here’s the sermon from today. I think that maybe I’m the only preacher in the Anglican communion who referenced the women’s national soccer team today.
